Addiction is the overusing of the internet and not being able to stop yourself from using it nonstop. It becomes the center of your world. You become dependent on social media, forgetting the existence of the outside world. We need to avoid being addicted. It makes us forget how to socialize. We will end up isolating ourselves when we should surround ourselves with friends. Some people will get depressed because of addiction because they'll feel that they're alone. That's because they focus on social medias too much and not on society. So get out from the four walls of your room and live your life outside and meet people.
Media information literacy is the capability of using information in the most articulate and appropriate way. It compasses the study and work of dealing with information and how to distribute it.Using this would be very useful now that we're in the 21st century. We now live in the era where databases fly from media to media.And since Media and Information Literacy deals with these things, like using legitimate information and appropriate ways of handling these various things. We should definitely promote the ethical use of MIL.
